AP Art History
Art History. Read the essay questions. Yeah, I didn't do a very good
job doing that. Ended up only answering half of the prompt. I still got a 4
though - which I thought was good considering my most undesirable situation.
My friend Margaret's Reviews (these are really good)
Chapter Notes
- Handwrote chapters 1-7 (up until Etruscans)
- Ch. 8-9 - Etruscans & Ancient Rome
- Ch. 10 - Early Christian and Byzatine Art
- Ch. 11-14 - Early Middle Ages, Renaissance,
Gothic, Precursors of the Renaissance
- Ch. 15 - Early Renaissance
- Test Review 6 (these are the good ones,
the previous notes are as good, but still good) - Quattrocento, High Renaissance,
Venetian Stuff, Northern Renaissance, Mannerism,
- Test Rev 7 - Baroque, Rococo,
- Test Rev 8 - Neo Classical, U.S. Stuff,
Romantics, Social Realists, Impressionists, Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, Post-Impressionists,
- Test Rev 9 (this was done very rashly,
there aren't too many pieces listed) 20th Century Gunk
BTW: The Test Review 6-9 each include a list of titles of paintings at the
end of the reviews. If you can remember the period, painter/sculptor, and how
the painting is characteristic of it's painter and period, then you should be
fine - at least for Stratton's class.
